Description

“When Lance decided to make an S style he figured it would be best to start at the beginning; 1954. He was lucky enough to get his hands on a real holy grail kind of guitar that was loaned to him. It was number 1055 and was and still is a honey of a guitar. We couldn’t have a better example.

We worked hard to get that same, vintage tone and feel with a few improvements along the way. Our body shape is slightly different and comfier. Smooth, hand-shaped contours make for a smoother, more flowing shape.

Our Saticoy models also have the lower tone knob controlling the tone bridge pickup alone while the middle tone knob controls both the middle and bridge pickups.

We believe that our Saticoy is a worthy and true example of a vintage sound and feel that only comes with gigantic price tags. Even if you were lucky enough to have one of those, you wouldn’t want to be bringing it to hole-in-the-wall gigs. Our goal was to make a guitar that would be great enough to attract some of the best players in the world. Now, several of Lance’s guitar heroes are playing Saticoys.

Our One series models are meant as an equally high quality instrument, with just a few minor changes to make them more accessible, again without compromising the quality. The most prominent feature is the finish and the lack of a name. One series S-Style models will only come in a matte finish with the most popular colors. All One series also have the same hand-wound pickups, hand-shaped body and neck, thin nitro lacquer finish and attention to detail as any LsL has.” – LsL Instruments
