Throughout this period, we conducted numerous prototypes, particularly focusing on the composition of the armrest materials and rigorous crash tests to ensure structural integrity. Additionally, we meticulously explored various finishes to strike the perfect balance between aesthetics and protection. These comprehensive efforts have led us to create the Kamaitachi, a headless guitar that exemplifies our dedication to delivering a top-tier product of impeccable quality and performance. 

Vapor, bearing the code name “Kamaitachi,” represents a pinnacle of instrument engineering through its judicious incorporation of hybrid materials. This remarkable amalgamation unites woods and advanced composite materials, synergistically forged to establish an impeccable structural foundation. The meticulous design of this instrument is rooted in a profound consideration for optimizing critical elements, including weight, ergonomic comfort, and overall stability.

The composition of the Kamaitachi encompasses a fusion of materials, including Pet-Carbon imbued with a 15% carbon resin, in conjunction with richlite, aerospace-grade aluminum screws, acrylate, HIPS, titanium, and select wood components. This intricate blend results in a headless guitar of remarkable lightness and resonance, accentuated by its avant-garde design. The harmonious synergy of these materials not only bestows a contemporary aesthetic but also delivers an instrument that embodies modernity, ensuring an exceptional playing experience.

We take pride in offering a set of predetermined specifications, carefully tailored to suit different musical preferences. These specifications pertain to the fixed scale length and the number of strings, which are not customizable:

  • 6-string guitars, we provide multiscale 25 inches to 26.5 inches
  • 7-string guitars, the available scale length options are also 25 inches to 26.5 inches, ensuring a comprehensive range of choices for the discerning guitarist
  • 8-string guitars, we provide a broader scope with scale lengths of 26 inches to 28 inches, catering to the demands of musicians who require extended range and tonal versatility.

Extensive experimentation and meticulous consideration have been invested painting technics, reflecting our steadfast commitment to innovation and aesthetics.

In our relentless pursuit of artistic expression and individuality, we have expanded the conventional  finishes. Beyond the customary satin, matte, or gloss finishes, we have ventured into the realm of textures , such as Dragon Skin, Leather Feel, Granular, Raw Metal, Brushed Bronze, Hammered, and Polystyrene, to name but a few. These finishes offer a rich tapestry of textures and visual experiences, allowing each instrument to be truly unique.

Moreover, we recognize that the spectrum of colors is where artistic horizons truly open up. Marble, gold leaf, fades, textured finishes, bursts, alien floral motifs, and an array of innovative options await, transcending mere words in their capacity to describe the boundless possibilities for customization and personalization. These options empower musicians to craft an instrument that is not only acoustically exceptional but also a one-of-a-kind artistic statement.

The Honeycomb grill armrest has been subject to meticulous study and prototyping to ensure a seamless connection with the instrument’s body. Its design has been carefully crafted to reduce overall weight while delivering an optimal playing experience. This armrest is securely affixed to the body using aerospace-grade aluminum bolts with titanium threaded inserts that are expertly embedded into the wood. They can be customized to align with various aesthetic aspects of the guitar, such as the pickguard, bridge tuners, and neck, although they are typically finished to harmonize with the overall visual appeal of the instrument.

The utilization of a Richlite fretboard, in conjunction with a hard rock maple neck and reinforced with carbon fiber rods, effectively eliminates the issue of fret sprout, thereby enhancing long-term stability. Complementing this, the inclusion of Jescar Stainless Steel frets is a vital enhancement, while the Graphtech Black Tusq nut ensures a precision-machined, high-end component.
